  • Fall Football Fun!

Posted on November 4, 2011 by in Fall

    Hey Guys!

In the South and as you know…everyone LOVES a Saturday filled with yummy food, drinks, and football! This past Saturday we had a few friends and family over to enjoy some exciting football games (ROLL TIDE) and a few of our favorite gameday recipes!

    Check out our spread!

Want to have this next weekend at your house, let’s break it down…

    • Obviously, you can’t start without lemonade, spiked if you wish, we call it Paw Punch! Thanks so some of our best friends and parents for coming up with this one. This is always a hit, trust us!

You will need a container big enough to mix and serve the lemonade in along with mason jars which can be jazzed up with raffia ribbon.

Mix all ingredients and double if you wish.

    1 can frozen lemonade

    1/2 cup of Sprite

1 1/2 cups of any vodka

    2 – 3 beers

    1 cup of water

    lots of ice

Now it’s time for some “munchy” foods!

    • This is one of the easiest, best recipes we always have and not just in the FALL. If you have a crockpot and a few simple ingredients you are in business… Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches!

-large package of boneless skinless chicken breast

-bottle of your favorite buffalo wing sauce

    -dry package of ranch seasoning

    -some BUTTER

-your favorite slider or mini bun

    -cheese if you like it

*This can also make a great dip! Click here for the dip recipe.

Let’s start the 4th quarter off with something to satisfy the sweet tooth…

    • Who doesn’t love a cupcake?!?!? As you will see in our upcoming blogs, we LOVE some cupcakes! Especially when they are football themed.

Click here for the cupcake and icing recipe from one of our favorite food blogs at My Baking Addiction.

    • While we are on the dessert kick let’s use strawberries one last time because we know the beginning of football season represents the end of strawberry season. We found this super cute idea on Pinterest and could not resist.

Hope your football Saturday turns out as great as ours did!
