Guess what starts this Saturday, Pepper Place! Pepper Place Saturday Market is a place for the best local growers, food producers, artisans and more to come out each Saturday to share their products with the Greater Birmingham residents April-December, rain or shine!
Here’s some fun facts about Pepper Place. It started in 2000 and has been expanding rapidly. It is located at the old Dr Pepper Plant and Bottling Factory in the Lakeview district. All the vendors are local and at times you will meet generations of families all underneath the same tent. It is a great place to enjoy a Saturday morning with family, friends, pets and more! Yes you can bring your furry friends!
We plan to have our own tent for Southern Soiree at least 4 times this year. We are really excited about it and can’t wait to participate in such a fun family friendly environment. We are going to have lots of our baked goods, cake plates, antique window frames and more! Hope you guys come out and who knows you might even find a goodie or two! We know we will! See you there!

If you are wondering what the definition of om·bré is here ya go! Probably a lot more than you wanted to know.
om·bré: having colors or tones that shade into each other —used especially of fabrics in which the color is graduated from light to dark.

Hey Guys!
Last weekend we got together to take pictures for our ad in the upcoming Perfect Wedding Guide due out in February 2012. We thought it was a great opportunity to show you some of the pictures of the vintage furniture we used for the photo-shoot.

A few months ago one of our friends had a trunk show at her house where we were first introduced to Karen with French Flea. Karen has sold her pieces in numerous places around Birmingham and also does custom pieces for her clients. We were talking with Karen and coming soon she hopes to begin renting vintage furniture for weddings, photo-shoots or even your next Soiree. We will keep you posted! Check out the French Flea blog to see all the great items Karen has created!

A pink and black party theme is elegant, yet playful. You could use this theme for birthday parties, graduation parties or showers like the one pictured below. You can find these supplies at your local craft and party store or your may even have some of these things laying around to add to your next celebration like we did.
